How to: Change the default gridline setting on a datasheet.
Solution:
Select 'Options...' from the 'Tools' menu, make the desired change(s) in the 'Default Gridlines Showing' group of the 'Datasheet' tab, and click 'Apply' or the 'OK'.
1) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'. (The Options dialog box appears.)
2) Click the 'Datasheet' tab.
3) To change the default gridline setting on datasheets, do one of the following in the 'Default Gridlines Showing' group:
the Default Gridlines Showing group
a) Select only the 'Horizontal' check box to display only horizontal gridlines.
b) Select only the 'Vertical' check box to display only vertical gridlines.
c) Select both the 'Horizontal' and the 'Vertical' check boxes to display both horizontal and vertical gridlines.
4) Do one of the following:
a) Click 'Apply' to apply the new settings and keep the 'Options' dialog box open.
NOTE: Click 'Apply' when there are changes that need to be made to settings on another tab. This avoids having to re-open the 'Options' dialog box.
b) Click 'OK' to apply the new settings and close the 'Options' dialog box.
